Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is a child of a mixed-race family from South London in England. Her mother and father are both English. She went to The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was awarded. While attending the school and performing in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. The actress has been a guest for Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's first film of debut is her role in the Woody Allen 2007 film Cassandra's Dream. She starred opposite Colin Farrell & Ewan MacGregor. In 2008, the actress was offered Bambi as the main character in the ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was also a part of 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. Some of her theatre credits are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009, with the thriller The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes prior to being ended on The CW. In February 2011, she was cast as Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe's departure from the series was announced in May 2013. Following two seasons as a main character, she was a guest in the very first episode of season 3. In the television series Salem the actress played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was a character in the television series Salem.

Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, is a member of a large family living in Hamilton, Ontario.
